Like many others, my formative art years were spent in the exclusive company of the graphite pencil. Anything more than the humble grey stick felt too daunting to risk. After recently taming ink, I'm now finally letting myself graduate to tackling colour (and, indirectly, backgrounds). I like letting the shapes guide my compositions more loosely and abstractly than my beloved lines ever could.

For now, I mainly use gouache and watercolour.
